On Wednesday 21st November 8G visited the Roman Museum in Ribchester. On arrival we were greeted by Patrick who told us more the Romans,  before letting us handle a range of artifacts (Did you know the word comes comes from Latin meaning art and skill , and  that they are always man made?). Examples included Roman pottery, a saddle, a mosaic, a floor tile, a Roman lamp and Roman shoes. Our favourite part was trying on the Roman armour. Halle asked if girls could be soldiers and we found out that they couldn't. We also enjoyed exploring the museum and seeing the remains of a Roman Bath House.
