Today is Pancake Tuesday so this afternoon some of us had  pancake races in class. Mrs Clarke made it more tricky because we had to use tissue paper pancakes!! We had lots of fun trying to get across the classroom without dropping our "pancake". Mrs Clarke and Mrs Devlin even had a race with the winner being Mrs Clarke. The next challenge was to try and keep our pancakes in the air just by blowing them, this was really hard but still great fun. Once the races was over we could choose to decorate a pancake or a biscuit. We had lots of different things to choose from like banana, chocolate buttons, icing sugar, strawberry sauce and laces. We saved the best bit until last when we could eat our pancake or biscuit.
