What a busy week we’ve had in 9R. Mrs Cobham finished reading Holes and we were able to watch the film - it was brilliant. We’ve been busy doing Christmas crafts too, we’ve made a Christmas tree bauble and a snow globe with our photo in. On Monday we had the opportunity to use the photo booth and we had lots of fun posing for the camera, pulling silly faces and having fun with our friends. On Tuesday we watched the Christmas Production it was brilliant, we liked seeing all the classes doing different things but we thought our bit was the best. On Wednesday morning we had breakfast with Santa. We watched him on the screen and then we had our breakfast either cereal or toast or both. In the afternoon we had sharing our learning, it was nice to see some parents joining in, we gave them instructions to make a Christmas card and then we had a Christmas quiz it was lots of fun. On Thursday morning we finished our snow globes and did some winter art and in the afternoon we watched Miracle on 34th Street and had a hot chocolate.

We’ve had a brilliant half term and are looking forward to 2021 and lots of new Learning and hopefully some visits out - fingers crossed.

Oh and Frederick has made great choices this week and chose to sit in the reading corner with the sensory toys.

Happy Christmas 9R
