It has been another busy week for everyone in 9G this week both at home and at school! Let's take a look!

Learners in School

We have been so busy doing lots of work around our topic Let's go the movies, and learning about Buddhism as part of World Religion week.

We have been focusing on commenting on the film Frozen, using colourful semantics to help us build sentences about the film. We have also been practicing our sight reading and pre-phonics skills. We have been super busy practicing our number skills; some working on addition, some recognising amounts and even some subtraction!

On top of all of this fabulous work, we have been exploring the religion Buddhism. As part of this we have completed some of the six star challenge, and done some other activities. This has included Bollywood dancing, decorating a temple, making vegan cookies, meditation, learning about the core values of Buddhism and looking at a variety of different religious buildings. We have definitely learnt some information we didn't know!

Charlie has also been really helpful around the house, loading and emptying the dishwasher. Charlie made a wonderful mandala out of different materials - I hope you have put it up on the wall! Charlie has also been practicing his letter formation as well! What a superstar. Charlie worked hard on both our video calls - a number one and a colour hunt!
