It has been another fabulous week in 9G and I am so proud of everyone for trying their best both at home and in school.

Let's take a look at what everyone has been up to!

Learners in School

This week we have been busy focusing on our maths and reading. We joined our friends at home for an Attention Autism video call, and then worked on some of our individual number goals. We then focused on our individual reading goals, and worked on building sentences for Frozen using colourful semantics.

This week we have built our own Olaf night light, practiced our ICT skills and art skills for Mr Murphy themed around Toy story, and we had a show and tell video call with our friends at home! We have also enjoyed taking part in Mrs Fisher's part two Movie play dough gym and taking part in some other regulation activities!

Charlie

Charlie has been doing great working from home this week. He has done some great work reading his sight reading book, and even read some of the words without the story on our video call! He has been trying hard with education city, even on those tricky maths ones! Charlie has also had a go at ski jumps in the six star challenge this week. Well done on your numicon bonds to 10! Super!

Rose

Rose has had a fabulous week also. She has tried really hard with her online learning, and has painted me some great pictures on purple mash. Rose did really well in working on adding one more on our video call, using numicon shapes to help her. She has also been practicing her writing and building some wonderful sentences about the Frozen clips she has seen. Rose has enjoyed taking part in playdough gym, and took to the challenge if building a snowman on Monday!

Ben

Ben has been very busy this week. He has been working really hard on his recognition of amounts and has been successful in recognising up to 5 on sight. Well done Ben, you did really well on this in our video call! You even challenged yourself by doing some adding 1 more! Great work! Ben has also been practicing building sentences with colourful semantics about Frozen. Well done Ben!

Francesca

Francesca has worked very hard at home and at school this week. Whilst at home she has continued with her maths addition and subtraction, trying some tricky number bonds to 10. She has also continued to practice her writing linked to our topic. Francesca has really enjoyed continuing with her jigsaw puzzles and has been doing some of her online learning too. Great work!

Daisy

Daisy has been a busy bee when she has been at home! She has practiced her mark making and fine motor skills, has been building sentences about Frozen using colourful semantics, and has been very active doing yoga, workouts and dancing. Daisy has also been practicing her self-help and independence skills when out in the community, by making sure she stops at the curb. Daisy also made a lovely bird feeder to put in her garden. Daisy has been a super star, counting household objects and has been great at counting out these items at school too!

Well done 9G, you are working so hard!
