9G have settled in well to their second week all back together.

We started the week working with Mr Murphy, finishing off our space pictures! We then took part in a Me and My Body session with Miss Hendy where we talked about our bodies, the differences between boys and girls, and what different body parts are for e.g. our legs help us to run.

We have continued our shape work this week, focusing on features of shapes and introducing a Hexagon. 9G have also made super progress in their addition and subtraction alongside this. 9G have also continued to work on regulating our engine's and finishing off our You've got a Friend in me dance which we hope to share with you next week!

9G have continued to develop our reading skills, using the sight reading books and words, our personalised words and working on our comprehension skills. We are picking these skills up really quickly and making excellent progress! Well done 9G!

In addition to all this lovely learning we made our own fruit kebabs and milkshakes during Food Technology. We practiced making choices, cutting, measuring and best of all eating it! 9G all remembered they needed to wash their hands before we started!

We have ended the week practicing our turn taking and communication skills using games and Lego Therapy. As well as this, we have enjoyed celebrating Red Nose Day on Friday, where you can see some of us have got matching Toy Story t-shirts, dressed as superheroes and took part in some fun colouring activities and watched a video about a boy who can be helped by the money raised by Red Nose Day.

We cannot wait to see you all again next week 9G!

You are all Superheroes!
Miss Hendy, Mrs England, Miss McPartlin and Mr Stokes.
