9G know it is important to talk about our feelings. This is something we do in morning and afternoon group every day.

This week we have focused on this even more, making sure our bodies are ready for the day and ensuring we talk about our worries and what we can do for our mental health.

First of all we took part in Yoga with Miss Holden. We tried some different moves and then settled down for some meditation. We were all very chilled out after this. We also tried a variety of different choose time activities to see what activities can help our engines be just right.

Later on in the week we listened to two stories - Ruby has a worry and My Monster and Me. Both of these talk about how it is important for us to share our worries with someone so they don't seem as big. We made a worry catcher today as well, using the nature on the school grounds and this will help us when we want to lose some of our worries.

9G spent some time in the nature outside, going on the bikes to get our engines just right. We followed this with some mindfulness colouring and relaxing music which made us very relaxed.

9G connected to nature some more by planting some bean plants for our World about Me, that we are going to monitor over the next few weeks.

We ended the week with a whole class picnic where we chatted and shared our favourite things of the week.

Well done 9G!
