Good afternoon,
Chestnut class have spent the week exploring the role of Dentists in our Emergency! Emergency! topic. This has seen the pupils experience a sensory story about Peppa the Pig and George going to the dentist and sampling all the things that can happen, such as drinking the ‘Pink Drink’!
They have also got busy by exploring their continuous provision which has given the opportunities to explore different types of teeth and mouths along with ways of brushing model teeth with shaving foams and paints.
To celebate World Religion Week, we have focused on Christianity. The pupils explored hot cross buns and using AAO (Agent, Action, Object) boards and experienced or observed spreading butter on them and then smelling and tasting them.
To continue building the pupils attention skills, they have engaged with our Attention Autism sessions. This week, they pupils have seen sand pendulum painting, ball splat, butterfly painting and rainbow sponge.
