We arrived at The Hub, we managed to miss the rain and arrived there nice and dry. A young man called Zak was helping Iris and David. He was very knowledgeable. He explained what we were going to do and showed us different kinds of bulbs. We also got to smell the garlic bulbs some of us didn’t like the smell, but agreed we liked it cooked on our pizza!

The poly tunnel had been finished and it had potting tables inside it, so we had the luxury of potting up the onions and garlic in a nice warm , dry area. As you can see we enjoyed doing that. It rained whilst we where in the poly tunnel, some of us loved the sounds the rain made on the tunnel. We worked in teams to plant and label the different onions and garlic.

We are hoping once they grow we might get to take some back to school to us in our food tech lessons!
