In PE this week, the children started off the lesson by playing a game called Dragons. This consisted of them making two chains where they were holding onto each other’s shoulders and they had to try to remove the tag from the last person on the other chain. They really enjoyed this warm up and had a lot of fun! They exerted lots of energy and were full of enthusiasm for this activity.

We then practised, as part of our Athletics lesson, different types of sprinting to see which was the most effective. All of the pupils tried really hard when racing each other, in pairs and groupings suited to their PE abilities. They really enjoyed racing each other and Amelia also joined in with some of the races. She also loved shouting “winner winner” whenever she won a race against Miss Buck or Miss Howarth.

The pupils all verbally supported each other during the races and presented excellent behaviours during the whole lesson. Well done 9A!
