We have had a fantastic term in Willow Class learning about people who help us and how to keep safe throughout our topic, Emergency Emergency! 

To finish our learning and for an end of term treat, Willow Class and Upper-Primary visited Blackpool Zoo on Wednesday. Everyone had a wonderful time exploring the zoo, seeing animals and communicating about what we could see/ hear, making predictions and asking/ answering questions. 

On Thursday, we shared photographs and spoke about our experiences at the zoo in a whole class circle time. We then split into smaller groups to draw pictures and write sentences about the zoo, focussing on our favourite part. Willow Class particularly loved visiting the Giraffes, Elephants and Penguins!

Well done Willow Class for a brilliant term.
