On Wednesday, 10G boarded the school minibus and Mrs Cobham drove us all the way up the M6 to Happy Mount Park in Morecambe. The weather was grey and miserable, but that didn't stop us from having lots of fun. The man from the council was waiting patiently for us at the gate for the splash park and we were thrilled to see that we had the splash park all to ourselves! The staff team were a bit worried that the learners in 10G wouldn't be keen on getting wet while the weather was so grey, but we were very very wrong! They took their shoes and socks off and frolicked through the water, having the time of their lives! It's safe to say they got very very wet and everyone had lots of fun together. Miss Greenwood even joined in the fun and got wet too.

Once everyone was finally dried off, we headed over to the park. We explored the play equipment with our friends, enjoying the zip wire and the wooden assault course. We finished with some slow motion video fun on Mrs Cobham's iPad and some group photographs, then walked back to the minibus together. We ate a very late dinner next to the minibus and just about managed to avoid the rain!
