Oak Class Diwali Celebrations!
Today Oak Class joined in lots of fun activities to celebrate Diwali. First we took part in a playdough gym listening to Diwali music. We then did an attention autism, we drew around Josh’s hand and a few of us took it in turns to glue and decorate the hand with different coloured sand. After break we took it in turns to colour Diwali pictures, make fireworks with paint, decorate our traced around hands and use iPads and computers to make different fireworks. After dinner we had lots more activities, first we did a Diwali themed massage; we all loved making the different shapes and patterns on our friends backs. We then took part in another attention autism where Miss Woods showed us how to decorate our candles before decorating our own. We had such fun exploring all the different colours within different activities.
