What a fantastic week we’ve had to bring to an end a lovely first term in 8G.

This week has been VERY Christmas focused.

At the beginning of the week we all finished off our festive reindeer bags that were sent home on Wednesday. We hope you all enjoyed going through these with your children. They were very excited to take them home and have been asking too for the past few weeks!

This morning we had a very special visitor at Astley Park School. Father Christmas himself came to give all our pupils a present for being on his good list. Mrs Hodgeon even caught Father Christmas arriving at school with a crash and a bang! We were all very excited to open our presents and can’t wait to take them home to show everyone.

We celebrated our visit from Father Christmas with a yummy breakfast consisting of cereal, crumpets, pain au chocolat, fresh orange juice and milk.

Before lunch we all got changed out of our pyjamas into our party clothes. We bet you can’t guess why! We had a party this afternoon with some of the other classes. We played party games and had a dance. After the party we went back to our classes to enjoy some party food!

All the staff from 8G would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and we look forward to seeing you in the New Year!

Have a lovely break J
