Hello everyone,

It has been  another busy week for all of our friends in Oak - Let’s have a see what some of us have been doing during our seventh week learning from home.

Learning from Home:

  • Ethan has continued working hard with his number and his counting. He has been practicing his letter formations in his name – Just look how much clearer they are getting. Ethan has also been busy getting creative making an under the sea picture using lots of different tools, materials and techniques. Ethan has also been a superstar, getting busy helping his family feel happy; using kind words and writing letter. – How lovely Ethan; great work!

  • Oliver has had a busy, yet fun-filled week with crafts, experiments and baking. We hope you have had lots of fun Oliver and we hope your bunting and biscuits were enjoyed by all the family in your VE Day celebrations. Keep up the hard work Oliver!

  • Over the past few weeks Amir, has been busy at home with his mummy and brother. Amir has been working hard, trying to make lots of good choices; he has even been helping mummy with jobs in the house! Amir has even been enjoying time in the sun with his brother, Ryan, and they have both been working on their social skills taking turns jumping into their pool! Fantastic work Amir and Ryan!

  • Tig has been busy using his fine motor skills again to make lots of amazing crafts! Tig is loving our class story ‘Barry the Fish With Fingers’ and has made two brilliant pictures of under the sea creatures – Just have a look at his hand-print fish and his bubble wrap jelly fish! He has also been working hard with his number and counting and his social skills playing lots of games with his brothers, including ‘What time is it Mr Wolf?’. Super Work Tig!

  • Oscar has been a superstar this week and has been trying very hard with his independent dressing skills and is making great progress! Way to go Oscar! He has even been helping his mummy in the kitchen, setting the dinner table, loading the washing machine and unloading the dryer too! Oscar has also been busy reading our class story and doing learning activities including our shape sandcastle. Oscar even made a wonderful flag to celebrate VE Day – Wonderful work Oscar!

Star of the Week:

I would also like to give a huge well done to our Star of the Week, Amir! We are very proud of you for working hard at home, helping mummy with jobs in the house and for playing nicely with your brother! What a superstar! Your teachers are very proud!

I wonder who will be our next Star of the Week?..

Remember: Keep working hard and get your Mummy’s and Daddy’s to keep emailing pictures and videos for us to see!
