What a fabulous week this has been for the pupils and staff in 11G.

We have done lots of learning, practised our numbers and literacy skills as well as spending time outside on the bikes and enjoying science experiments.

We have worked hard in Literacy and English, some pupils have been concentrating on grammar and punctuation whilst others have been reading and answering questions on the ‘Pop Family’ series and have been practising writing and copying names.

During maths one group of pupils have been working on multiplication (wow) whilst others have been working equally as hard on their counting and adding on skills ( another wow). We have seen lots of great work being completed during this week.

Our science experiment was absolutely wonderful and all the pupils (and staff) enjoyed having a go at making slime. This was done by using ingredients such as water, glue, food colouring and borax powder. Each pupil worked within a small group and took turns at pouring and mixing. This also provided a great opportunity to develop communication skills.
The slime was a great success and each pupil got the opportunity to take some home in a plastic bag ( sorry parents and carers )

Today we have had great fun with pupils dressing up in Halloween costumes or party clothes. We had a small party within our class bubble, played some party games and ate lots of yummy party food. We then took part in a parade around our classroom so that other classes could see and admire our costumes and party clothes.

Our day ended with our usual Friday celebration assembly.

What a brilliant week. Stay safe everyone. Ms Lea.
