11G have had a great week celebrating world religion week alongside lots of other fun activities and lessons.
We took part in helping to make a Bollywood dancing video which was then uploaded and put on YouTube, if you haven’t seen it yet it’s well worth watching. We watched the completed video as a class and then joined in doing our own Bollywood style of dancing...great fun.

We also searched online to find out facts about the Jewish religion and their community before making our own Jewish candles  from cardboard and paints which show that they are the light shining through darkness. We used torches to shine a light through the cardboard flame which looked very effective.

Some of our home learners have also been fining out facts about the Jewish religion and Nathan has even found a recipe for some delicious sounding bagels which is something that Jewish people like to eat during celebrations.

Our class learners as well as some of our home learners have taken part in the six star challenge and have been practising lots of dancing and cleaning throughout the week.
We look forward to seeing how many of you can complete this weeks challenge.

We have carried on exploring the Polar regions and in class we have begun to make our own Polar habitats by painting shoe boxes...I think these will look brilliant once finished. We have also been doing polar bear paintings by dropping a splodge of white paint into the centre of black card and then drawing it out using a fork. Take a look at the photo and maybe have a go yourself at home.

In maths we have been learning about measuring and we had great fun using paper footprints along the floor to measure distances.

Ms Lea got a little bit carried away practising her First Aid skills on Mrs Powell...she started with a bandaged hand and ended up with a bandaged head and face...it was really funny...take a look at the photo.

Well, it is very snowy out side today, I popped out to the shop earlier and it was slippery and snowing quite hard...great fun to play in but please do take care of yourselves whilst having fun.

Ms Lea.
