As part of our work for World Religion work 10R have been learning all about Judaism. In our teams call on Tuesday we read a news article written by Mrs Woods all about synagogues and then completed a quiz about what we had read.
Students then wrote their own article about the opening of a new synagogue and had to research a fact about Judaism.
Today we shared the facts we had learnt. We learnt lots of new things including that Jewish people wear hats called Kippahs, eat Kosher food and Jewish boys have a bar mitzvah when they are 13. We talked about what websites we had used to learn our facts and how we know if we can trust the information we read.
