Welcome back 9G!

It has been a lovely first week back!

9G settled back in very quickly on the first day. We had a lovely circle time in the morning where we took turns to share out weekend news, played some communication games and had a good catch up! Then in the afternoon we were very lucky to get out on the bikes, showing off our skills! Miss Hendy was very impressed!

Tuesday, we has a super morning getting ready to make our own Campervan images with Mr Murphy. We used lots of different textures to create out background and then decorate our Campervan. In the afternoon we started looking at maps of school, and seeing if we could recognise the different areas of school from above. We noticed that the satellite image didn't have the new climbing frame on!

We continued the week by working on our number work. Lots of us were practicing using number lines for the first time to help us with our addition skills! We have also began to revisit money, and recognising amounts!

This week we were introduced to our Happy Campers topic by joining with a camping rhyming story! We had lots of fun with this getting in Miss Hendy's pop up tent, sleeping bag and eating some smores and beans! We did make a mess though!

9G ended the week by working on their individual reading goals, learning new words and answering some tricky questions!

Well done 9G! We can't wait for next week!

Miss Hendy, Mrs England, Miss McPartlin and Mr Stokes!
