My Communication

We looked at our book A Magical Muddle. There was good remembering of the main character, Tabath and the animals that the witches turned themselves into because they forgot the wording of the brain spell.

After Miss Brophy put the class into small groups the pupils concentrated on a good spell and not a good spell and which spell would make someone happy and someone sad.

My Thinking and Problem Solving.

We looked again at numicon and recognising the value of the shape and colour.

My Creativity

Mrs Mahood came into 9G on Wednesday morning. The class participated in a chair exercise regulation, getting the pupils ready for learning. After the regulation activity the class followed step by step instructions in finishing off their witches. They rolled back paper around a tube and stuck on a green face, googly eyes and purple wool for the witches hair. Mrs Mahood then stuck on the witches hat that was made last week. Amazing witches 9G!

My Community

On Thursday Tyler, Lily, Jacob, Harry and Joshua went swimming and all did a great job following instructions. Well done for everyone getting into the water and dangling their feet in the water. Mr Murphy and Miss Patterson did a good job avoiding all the splashes.

PHSE

In our life skills lesson we were making pizzas on tortilla wraps. The children chose their own toppings and some even had a go at cutting their own peppers.

Wow moments

Well done Harry for sitting so nicely at dinner time on Tuesday next to Miss Brophy.

It is going to be Miss Brophy’s Birthday this weekend.

9G held a little birthday party for Miss Brophy. We did some good dancing, musical statues and pass the parcel, and what amazing singers 9G are at the Happy Birthday song. You all put a huge smile on Miss Brophy’s face.
