What another fabulous week it has been in 7P!

We started the week with a potions lesson, helping to support us with our counting, addition and in some cases multiplication! We used the different potion ingredients to count, and used numicon shapes to help us where we needed it! We have tried really hard to then apply this independently in workstation activities and at our potions role play!

This week we have began to really get stuck into our Personalised Learning Goals. As well as our number skills, we have been looking at our reading and spelling. 7P have been showing off their sight reading, phonics and writing abilities! This has been great to see has some children have also improved in their letter formation as the week has gone on!

7P also had some very exciting news - our 1:1 iPads arrived this week! We have started to explore how they work, how we store them and just a few activities that can be done on them; check out our poppies we have designed on purple mash! On Friday we set our own passwords and chose our backgrounds!

As well as celebrating Children in Need and Remembrance Day (more photos can be found on the whole school blog), 7P were very excited to finally go on the outdoor equipment! We did excellent turn taking and were really sensible, displaying some brilliant team work and gross motor skills.

7P have had a special visitor this week too. Alongside Mrs Clarke, Sophia our School Councillor, helped introduce the school values to us; Honesty, Positivity, Respect, Kindness and Teamwork. 7P learnt the signs and talked about what they thought each word might mean. We then recorded these in book creator for Sophia to take to the next School Council meeting. Sophia did brilliantly with this and even took over from Mrs Clarke which shows her confidence. Well done Sophia!

Well done for another super week 7P! I wonder what we will get up to next week?
