What a brilliant day in Willow class!
Lots of friends wore costumes or their own clothes to celebrate Halloween and everyone had lots of fun with the masks and props.

In the morning we listened to a spooky story about skeletons scaring people and feeling scared. We had a good chat about what to do if they feel scared at Halloween or see something scary and some brilliant suggestions from the children about what they could do- lots of very sensible children who would tell an adult!

Some of us played some tricky board games, some of us made witches food in the witch cafe cauldrons, some went on an orienteering exercise in the forest and some children answered tricky questions about the story while they worked on their fine motor skills with the Halloween playdoh.

In the afternoon we had a competition to design pumpkins then had our class party! We played wrap the mummy where children had to work in pairs to turn an adult into a toilet paper mummy. We played witch hat hoopla trying to get the rings onto the witches hats. We played pin the fangs on Dracula (with some peeking to cheat which peers laughed off!) and then finished off with a game of musical bumps before we finished for technology time.

Have a lovely Halloween night and stay safe trick or treating!
