11G celebrated Chinese New Year, the year of the rabbit, on Monday. We  looked at the year we were born to find out which animal was the zodiac symbol for that year. We learnt how to write our names in Chinese. Each pupil drew a picture of their zodiac symbol. Four of the learners went to the food tech room and cooked a chicken stir fry for the other pupils to try. Everyone enjoyed their stir fry.

On Tuesday morning we went swimming and again we practiced for our sponsored swim in two weeks time. In the afternoon we looked at time and seasons.

On Wednesday morning we walked to the learning hub for Chorley in Bloom. We learnt about how to be safe in the garden and we planted some bulbs and flowering garlic.

On Thursday morning we went in the school mini bus to Asda, we chose some breakfast in the cafe. In the afternoon some of us did an independent walk while the others in class finished off some ICT work.

Friday, bacon butty morning, all the staff look forward to this and so do the pupils in 11G.

We finished off the week with golden time and celebration assembly.

Well done 11G for another fab week!!!!
