Good afternoon,

Today the Chestnut pupils and staff immersed themselves in activities to celebrate Holi. Holi also known as the Festival of Colours, Festival of Spring, and Festival of Love, is one of the most popular and significant festivals in Hinduism.

The pupils were provided with a wide-ranging set of activities to explore in our classroom and outdoor provision.  These included coloured themed attention autism, dancing with coloured scarfs, coloured rice play, manipulating coloured playdough shapes, exploring coloured spaghetti, mark making with chalks, wearing different coloured sunglasses and the grand finale – the Primary Holi Colour Cloud and Colour Run.

All the pupils revelled in these celebrations.

We hope you enjoy the pictures!
