7A poems


 

7A have been working really hard this half term learning all about acrostic poems. This week we all used our super English skills to think of lots of different words and sentences to use when writing an acrostic poem all about Mr Welsh. We took our time and worked hard to think of lots of different sentences and words we could use to describe Mr Welsh. We then worked hard to write out our poems and had some super lines such as ‘excellent head teacher’ and ‘lifts me up’. We then made our poems look very eye catching using some of Mr Welsh’s favourite colours of blue and green. We then typed up our super poems on to book creator. Then we asked Mr Welsh to come and read our amazing acrostic poems. He was very impressed and they made him super proud! Well done 7A. You have worked so hard and you have made some outstanding poems!
