Maple class have had a very busy week this week, we are enjoying being back at school!

On Monday, we enjoyed making jam sandwiches in our cookery session! We have been working on our cutting and spreading skills. We all enjoyed tasting the jam and did brilliant listening when following instructions!

On Tuesday we enjoyed some time in the snow! Later on some of us enjoyed attention autism and some of us did lots of brilliant phonics learning. In the afternoon, Maple class explored Hinduism for world religion week and made mehndi patterns, everyone enjoyed the glitter!

This week we listened to our sensory story “The three little pigs”, everybody did excellent listening and turn taking during the story, we explored the characters and each took turns building the pigs houses. We’ve also started our new themed sensology “jungle”. We explored jungle colours, sounds, tastes, smells and textures, it was lots of fun.

We finished the week with our PE slot in the hall. We all explored the equipment and copied adults during games such as “catch” and crawling through the tunnel!

Excellent week Maple Class
