What a fantastic first week in 8P!

Everyone has settled in brilliantly and we are so proud of all of the learners for settling back in so well and adapting to new routines and new teachers.

This half term out topic is all about the weather. We have been on walks around school taking pictures of the different weathers and creating our very own weather books using descriptive words to form sentences about what we could see and feel. 
We have also been sorting different clothing items into the seasons we wear them and looking at waterproof and not waterproof clothing. The learners also created our own rainbows using skittles and water and watched our rainbows grows. We used some brilliant language to describe our rainbows like “colourful.” 

For our community visit we walked to the Library. The learners showed some brilliant awareness to road safety identifying moving cars and hazards. They each chose a book and did some independent reading looking at the books and pictures. 
 

We are all looking forward to another fantastic year and watching everyone grow and progress.
