This week has been another busy week in 9A.
On Monday we did P.E outside - playing Netball. We worked in pairs to practice passing to each other. We tried chess passes and over head throws. We then moved on to a really tricky pass - a moving pass. At the end of our lesson we got really competitive and worked in 2 teams to pass to each other and then shoot in to the net.
On Tuesday we were looking at direction. We went outside and worked in pairs. One person had to close their eyes and listen very carefully whilst their partner gave them directions. It was very funny to watch people wandering around the school field with their eyes closed.
On Wednesday we had a shape hunt. We spent time in class talking about shapes and seeing if we could identify them. We then had to look around the classroom and the corridor and find pictures of shapes. We then had to remember the name of each one and put it in the correct pile.
Thursday morning saw the return of swimming. It was so lovely to be back in the water. In the afternoon we looked at what makes us unique. We spoke about what is amazing about us, what we are good at and what makes us a good friend.
On Friday morning we created props for our super hero drama session. We will be using the green screen to act out being super heroes. We can’t wait to show you.
Have a lovely weekend.
