We’ve had another fun filled week in 7P this week, with plenty of learning, exploring and happiness!

On Monday we said hello to Miss Bolton who has joined our class, some of us have worked with Miss Bolton before and for some of us Miss Bolton was a new face though no matter if we knew her already or not we were all happy to see her!

Miss Troughton continued her music lessons with us on Monday Afternoon and by the end of the lesson we’d formed a marching band! We had a lot of fun marching around class, and all of the learners in class joined in!

On Tuesday we enjoyed P.E. in the hall, and continued to practice various skills there was lots of throwing and catching this week and we all accepted the changes to the stations in the hall well! We enjoyed another Sensology session on Tuesday afternoon, again exploring different stimuli with our feet. All of us were very brave, and made it clear if we didn’t want to touch a certain thing which was good communication.

Wednesday morning saw us practice our phonics, as well as reading and some of us played turn-taking games whilst others explored Playdough. In the afternoon we had Sensory Play, and loved the parachute!

On Thursday morning we continued our phonics and reading, as well as doing some maths work, and in the afternoon some of the class went on a walk to Astley Park whilst the rest of us stayed in school and enjoyed time in the Sensory Integration Room or in class.

On Friday we enjoyed a communication session, which involved plenty of singing and after such a busy week we had Golden Time in the afternoon!

Throughout the week we’ve worked on our phonics, reading and maths as well as spending time in the regulation areas in school, and we’re making good progress in taking turns and sharing with our friends.

Star of the Week this week is Jack! Well done Jack we’re all very proud of you!
