Another incredible week in 7P, time really does fly when you are having fun! Whilst we’ve had lots of fun we’ve also worked incredibly hard on our reading, phonics and number work. Some of us this week have been working on number bonds up to 10, and have really applied themselves to this. We’ve also continued to access the Rainbow Room, Sensory Room and Sensory Integration Room throughout the week.

On Monday we had a music lesson with Miss Troughton, and continued to explore various instruments as well as practicing for our marching band. We had P.E on Tuesday morning, with 8P and 9P, and this week some of us added dribbling a basketball to our list of skills we are working on.

Mrs Smith helped us to create Pumpkin art on Tuesday afternoon, as we used apples and orange paint to make pumpkins and with a bit of green paint for the stem we had pumpkins! Even the teachers joined in, and as you can see from the photos Miss Fraser was very proud of hers.

We went on a Bear Hunt on Wednesday morning, before creating sentences and writing about the Bear Hunt we’d been on. In the afternoon we played games with our friends, working on our turn-taking skills if we weren’t working on our number skills.

On Thursday afternoon we created skeletons using pasta and a photo of ourselves for the skeleton’s face, a nice activity as we’d worked hard on our reading packs in the morning with our reading packs containing even more activities to complete now.

Two of our friends went on a Reward Visit on Friday afternoon as they went bowling with other children from the school, and the rest of class enjoyed Golden Time!

Our Star of the Week is Mohmed! Mo has worked very hard on his communication skills and has been using full sentences to request! Well done Mo, we’re all very proud of you!
