The last couple of weeks Rowan class has been super busy!! We have been exploring lots using our senses during our autumn themed sensology and our sensory story of Jack and the Beanstalk. We have tasted jam, smelt cinnamon and mixed beans and used of touch to feel textures of leaves the soft cow teddy. We also have been our turn taking skills during group where we have been playing the guitar, throwing & catching a ball with our teacher and sharing a parachute game. To continue our Jack & beanstalk theme, in our food tech lessons we made bean salad where used our chop vegetables such as cucumber and celery well as mixing beans together before tasted some of it. We also have been stomping wellies in flour like the giant in the story. We have been on a trip to Devonshire Park to play and practised our bike skills for our Bike ability sessions. Finally we got busy making decorations for the school Christmas tree in the hall and during assembly on Friday we all took turns to add our decorations.
