All about Zoo animals in Rowan Class 2025/26

What a busy week!! We have been learning all about zoo animals, in Attention Autism we have washed muddy sheep and counted animals onto the boat,in two by two. We have also been learning about different animals and have been making caterpillars, handprint lions and handprint elephants and painting butterfly pictures. In PE we have been exploring movements like animals do, jumping like kangaroos and frogs and crawling like a hedgehog and spinning like dolphins do. We have also been learning about the life cycle of a chicken, innAttention Autism we watched the chicken toy laying eggs and we cracked plastic eggs full of feathers over our heads!! The group loved this!! We have also been on our weekly trips out to Asda on Monday, Pets at Home on Tuesday, Astley Park Woodland Walk on Thursday and to Devonshire Play Park on Friday. We have also been exploring lots of activities during continuous provision in class.
