Chestnut Class are still on the theme of ‘Animals’ and we have all been having lots of fun at home this past couple of weeks, focusing on ‘Mini beasts’.

We have looked at the stories ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ and ‘Superworm’ and then been getting busy with lots of themed activities.

George has been going for lots of nature walks to look what he can see and hear. He saw some cute little ducklings in the pond and then spotted a huge fish!! Well done George!!

Harry and his sister have been playing shop. They have been taking it in turns to be the shop keeper and having lots of fun singing ‘6 current buns’. Good Job Harry!

Scarlett has been busy completing the ‘6 Star Challenge’ again this week. She has practised yoga, planked, put the washing away, gone on a bug hunt, found lots of shapes in her room and read her favourite book. After reading her favourite book which is ‘The Tooth Fairy’, Scarlett then drew her own fairy and made sure she gave her wings so that she can fly. Great work Scarlett!

Scarlett has also celebrated her 7th birthday at home. She had a pool party in the garden, followed by a huge cake!! Happy Birthday Scarlett.

Today, Beech and Chestnut joined together to have had our first video call. It was lots of fun seeing all our friends and singing some songs together. We look forward to doing it again next week!

Have a lovely weekend and stay safe
