Wow! Already the end of another busy week for the staff, pupils and families of 8G both at home and in school. Well done all! Now let’s see what we have all been up to…

Starting with Rose who has been super busy at home, completing tasks on Purple Mash and Education City, watching our Pizza song and Mrs Mahood’s dance, using pizza toppings to help with addition, painting a pizza and enjoying the playdough gym! Brilliant work!

Francesca has been working hard too, practicing spelling the days of the week, lots of subtraction, reading, designing a Birthday cake on Purple Mash, walking AND making some yummy pasta. Francesca’s grandad is 80 today! Hope you all enjoy the cake it looks yummy! Well done Francesca!

Ben continues to work hard at home. This week he has been working on his number/maths work, counting 1:1 up to 13, practicing writing his numbers and typing key words from our story from memory. Great work Ben and congratulations… You are our Star of the Week! Well done and keep up the good work.


Daisy has been as busy as ever at home this week, using colourful semantics to comment on our story, making a pizza using different materials and retelling our Little Red Hen story in her very own puppet show, amazing. Also, Daisy has completed all of the Six Star Challenges! Well done Daisy!

Charlie has done some brilliant work at home this week. He has used letter cards to make keywords from our story, Little Red Hen Makes Pizza and used colourful semantics to build sentences. Charlie has also been busy cooking, he made some delicious chocolate cakes. Great work Charlie!

Jake too has been super busy at home this week. He has worked hard on his number work, using numicon, been practicing writing his name and used colourful semantics to build sentences for our story, Little Red Hen Makes Pizza. Jake has also been working hard on his self help and independence skills, making drinks and feeding the dogs, very well done Jake!

In school this week Nicola has been busy reading and writing keywords from our story, Little Red Hen Makes pizza, she designed a brilliant pizza and created it using different materials, and has enjoyed baking and dancing. Brilliant work Nicola! Skye too has been busy in school this week. Skye has been working very hard on her sight reading, and then overwriting the words. Skye has also enjoyed our story, Little Red Hen Makes Pizza, and has enjoyed baking and dancing. Well done Skye!
