7A Remember

At 11:00am yesterday morning, 7A stopped their work to have a minute silence in remembrance of the soldiers who lost their lives for us. Out of respect, Connor chose to stand up throughout.

In the afternoon in our World About Me lesson, we started by discussing Remembrance Day in our circle time. We spoke about why we wear a poppy and what a cenotaph is, as well as how the soldiers might have felt during the war and why it is important for us to commemorate Remembrance Day.

Using our iPads, we completed some work on Purple Mash. Some of us designed poppy pictures using the painting app while some of us wrote sentences about Remembrance Day and why it is important to us.

Super work, 7A!
