10G have been learning all about racism today. We talked all about why we are all wearing red today and what today means.

First we talked about what we thought racism was and we knew that it was to do with being unkind. Then Miss Robertson read through a PowerPoint all about what racism is and we learnt that people can show racism in lots of different ways such as through mean looks, nasty comments, leaving someone out of a game and many more. We then watched a video about people from different cultures with different skin types. We learnt all about different people’s lives and talked about how we can stop racism. We decided that if we heard someone saying a nasty comment we would tell an adult and if someone was being left out we would play games with them. We know that racism is wrong, that we need to look out for everyone and that it is really good to be different. There is only one you and that makes you very special. Say no to racism!
