Rowan Class started their new topic this week, "Fun at the Fair". We enjoyed exploring our own funfair outside, with a coconut shy, candyfloss stand, hook a duck and hoopla. Our story this week has been The Singing Mermaid, and we have made some great sentences about the different parts of the book. In cooking we made fruit ice lollies, we especially enjoyed tasting them. We are learning about sound and light this term, and we did some great listening on a sound walk around school.
We enjoyed a faith visit to learn all about Judaism on Friday, with Jewish dancing, clothing and games.
On Friday we also celebrated St George's Day by painting our own dragons, listening to English music, and eating jam and scones.
