What a busy first week back after Easter.

Everyone has been busy over the break and we have loved hearing all about what they have been up to.

This week in 9G we have been exploring The Circus.

We listened to a lovely sensory story, it had elephants, jugglers, clowns and a Ringmaster. Some of us dressed up and attempted some juggling and tightrope walking. We all really enjoyed our story and had some candy floss and popcorn at the end.

Everyone used their fine motor skills to do some finger painting and made some colourful clown faces which have been displayed on our window for all to see.

Parachute games was very popular and everybody enjoyed the games, although some staff struggled even when instructions were listened to didn’t they Ms Carter?

Thursday was another busy day with us all looking at coins and working hard to recognise which were which. We also made a life size clown which we named Carter the clown!!

On Friday we had a visitor come into school to talk about Judaism, everyone sat and listened to everything she was telling us and tried on Yamakas, looked at Menorahs and played with dreidels. We then used our teamwork skills to decorate our own Menorahs. Well done 9G.

Tomorrow is St.George’s Day, so we had a look at the story of St. George.

Happy St.George’s Day for tomorrow.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend and stay safe.
