Chestnut Class fun at the fairground and celebrating the Jubilee

This week Chestnut class have been getting ready for Jubilee celebrations by creating our own special crown and adding jewels just like the Queen! We have been exploring the colours of the flag through Attention Autism and then decorated cakes for the special day using our fabulous communication skills to make requests for coloured icing! On Friday as well as having a fabulous time at the Fairground, enjoying balloon modelling, a ride in the tea cups and the inflatables we enjoyed a wonderful sensory story and Attention Autism Stage 1 and 2 about the sights, sounds and smells at the fair and then relaxed with afternoon tea with our friend back in class.
