On Monday morning, we were very kindly joined by Teddy, Annie, Amelia and Daniel's Mum with our Adventurers group for a cooking session as part of our Sharing Our Learning.

Parents got to experience how we all take part in a cooking session and followed along with the pupils as we made our way through the lesson.

This half term we have been making different types of sandwiches, practicing our cutting and spreading skills as well as promoting independence and problem solving skills too.

Today we used all of the skills that we have been learning and perfecting to make a sandwich of choice for our parent or friend. This meant we needed to ask our parent/friend which filling they preferred and then make a sandwich based on their preferences.

As you can see from the photos, we had lots of fun. Everyone enjoyed the end of the session where they could eat the sandwich that their friend had made for them.

A massive thank you to Teddy, Amelia, Daniel and Annie's Mum's for coming into school for our session, it was really nice to see you face to face and share some work with you too.
