Willow Class have had a fabulous Safer Internet Day. We joined the Google assembly this morning and we were super at answering questions about online safety - we even got a school shout out from the team at Google! We then read a story called “Didgiduck and the Magic Castle” and talked about the importance of strong passwords and keeping passwords private, as well as who we can ask for help if we are worried or unsure when we are online. Some learners created posters to show people who help them when they are online, some created posters about important messages to remember, and some practiced creating strong passwords using capital letters, lower case letters, numbers and symbols. We also enjoyed playing Interland on Google to complete challenges using our online safety knowledge. It was lots of fun. At the end of the day, we all received a certificate for our excellent participation. Well done Willow Class!
