11G have been busy finishing off their ASDAN work this week and tying up any loose ends. They have all worked extremely hard and we are so proud of them.

On Monday as always we caught up on weekend news, all the pupils had a busy weekend. Everyone was able to tell their friends what they had been up to and some shared photos.

On Monday afternoon we watched a little bit more of the film The BFG, we talked about dreams in class and the pupils made their own dream jar.

On Tuesday in maths 11G looked at measuring and weighing again. In groups the pupils made mango smoothies and flapjacks. They measured the liquids in a jug for the smoothie and weighed the dry ingredients on scales.

Everyone really enjoyed tasting the smoothies and the flapjacks for snack time.

On Wednesday morning it was our Chorley in Bloom visit. This week the pupils were asked to fill some raised beds with soil ready to plant some vegetable seeds. Everyone worked together to fill up the beds and then working in pairs they helped to plant the seeds.

On Thursday morning some of the pupils went to Asda for some shopping and breakfast while the others stayed in school to get up to date with their environment awareness.

Fridays come around so quick, 11G’s favourite day as it’s bacon butties for breakfast.

One more busy week to go before the end of spring term! Well done 11G you have worked so hard this term.
