It has been a very busy and enjoyable second week in Willow class as we have all been learning lots of new things and building up friendships within class.

We all enjoyed making salt dough which was very messy but great fun, especially when we turned the salt dough into our very own hedgehogs complete with black buttons for eyes and noses. They looked very cute.

Some of the activities within class this week involved concentrating on our fine motor skills and we used scissors, threaded cotton reels and practised tying laces.

Today half of the class went swimming  at Hindley and judging by the photos and smiling faces they all had a great time while the other half stayed in class and had great fun designing Mr Potato head characters.
Next week we will be taking the pupils swimming who had stayed in class this week whilst the second group also have a go at crafts within class.

This afternoon it was our usual golden time and then celebration assembly when our star of the week for Willow class was our very own Lewis for having a fabulous first couple of weeks settling into Willow and making lots of friends.  Well done Lewis. You are a super star ⭐️

Hope everyone has a well deserved relaxed weekend.

Ms Lea.
