Recycling in 7P

 

This week 7P looked at different materials that we have to recycle. 

Firstly, the learners took turns and played a recycling game on the laptop. They had to drag each item of rubbish into the correct bin. 

Next, we went outside and looked for hidden recycling material pictures. The learners then had to tick these off on their work sheets. 

Again, 7P showed amazing turn taking and each learner lead the way in finding these photos and letting their friends know what they had found. 

When back in class, 7P used their cutting skills to cut out different pictures of waste. Then they had to place the waste in the correct bin. They had plastics, tins, card board/paper and food waste. 

The learners showed good understanding of which bin the waste should go in.

Lastly, the learners had to name 4 types of waste. 

 

Well done 7P, you showed amazing knowledge in recycling. Let’s hope you continue your to use your new knowledge at home when throwing rubbish away.
