This half term Willow Class have been learning about our topic “We’re All Going on a Summer Holiday”.

We started off learning all about postcards, what they are, how they are designed, and when they are used.

From here the children started to write their own postcards about fun activities we had done that day or week. Focusing on where we went, what we did, and who we were with. Working on our writing and sentence structure.

Then drawing a lovely picture of the activity on the other side of the postcard.

There were some great examples of work, talking all about; our trips to the park, going into the dip for den building, sports week activities and swimming.

To celebrate such great work this half term, we used our incredible imaginative play skills, and went on a class flight to Italy!
