We’re halfway through our first half term in Secondary School, and what a great week it’s been!

On Monday afternoon we had a music lesson with Miss Troughton, and it was hard to tell whether we were in school or if we were listening to a grand orchestra! Everyone did super well with exploring the different instruments and listening to each other perform.

Tuesday morning saw us complete our weekly P.E. session with 8P and 9P, and each of our learners displayed how well they’ve begun to progress in their confidence whilst using the various pieces of equipment. In the afternoon we had a Sensology Session where we explored different stimuli, including paint, pasta, leaves and flour, with our feet.

We went on a “Bear Hunt” on Wednesday afternoon, and we found a big one! But we weren’t scared! Our learners enjoyed the Sensology aspect, as they crossed the river, waded through the grass and entered the dark woods.

On Thursday afternoon we enjoyed an Attention Autism session about the weather, and we experienced all four seasons in one session!

We’ve also continued our regular reading, writing and maths sessions as well as going to the various regulation spaces around the school!

So that’s another fantastic week ticked off, only four more to go until half term!
