We have had another amazing week in 9P!
In our learning this week we have focused on the following:
Maths where our learners have been adding two single digits to make 10 and building on their knowledge of doubling numbers and representing numbers by carefully counting out the correct number of objects.
In our phonics learning we have been using our knowledge to read and match words to pictures.
After our weather walk, we created beautiful ‘stained glass window’ leaves using tissue paper and laminating them. We have displayed our leaves on our classroom door and are enjoying seeing the sunlight shine through them.
On Wednesday with Miss Troughton, as part of our textile learning, we went into our school grounds to create some large scale weaving. It was great fun to weave the wool between the railings.
We are enjoying our sensory story ‘Seren’s Seasons’ and have written some super sentences from the story.
On Friday we all enjoyed helping to raise money at the Macmillan coffee morning by buying a delicious cake and then eating it with our friends and some family!
9P were also joined at lunchtime by Mr Welsh. They were so happy to have won this week’s reward ‘top table’
We congratulate all our learners for working hard and having another fabulous week, but this week’s Star of the Week goes to Jacob. Well done Jacob!
Have a wonderful weekend and stay safe everyone.
9P Team.
