NSPCC Number Day 2026 in 10A

On Friday it was the NSPCC Number Day. Astley Park along with other schools across the UK took park in this Maths activities.

10A had a great morning, looking at numbers in different ways.

The learners all had to design a Maths T-shirt by using numbers and maths symbols. What amazing designs they created.

They also played a maths board game and used their brilliant turn taking skills. The learners also used some of our school values and showed kindness and respect to their peers, saying “well done” on the answers given.

We also did “ colour by numbers” but instead of single numbers, they had to solve the sums in the picture to work out what colour they had to use.

To finish off the morning, the learners went on their iPad and opened up different maths games.
