This week in PE we have kick started the term with yoga. We began with a discussion around the importance of warming up our body and being mindful of the space around us. We warmed up using fast paced dance. Then we moved onto cosmic yoga. We are particularly proud of all pupils for fully engaging with the warm up dance, yoga session and a successful mindful cool down. After PE we reflected on what our bodies have achieved and introduced some new vocabulary and their meanings. We talked about how our bodies feel when we warm up and the changes that happen during excerise. We discussed how our heart beats faster, our bodies produce sweat and what this means in regards to making our core strength and muscles stronger. We practiced different ways to hold our balance and supported each other through this. What a team ! 
The pupils then openly spoke about how they feel after doing exercise and what parts of the lesson they enjoyed the most. We all spoke about the things we are proud of during the lesson. Then finished with a nice cool drink to hydrate.
