Earth Day is a global environmental event celebrated annually on 22nd April to promote environmental protection and sustainability. The 2025 theme is "Our Power, Our Planet". The children will be celebrating Earth Day by learning about a variety of topics in class, including: Carbon Net Zero, How we can help the to look after the environment, How we can eliminate waste to support life on our planet, Reviving our Oceans and Learning about our Carbon Footprint. The pupils will learn about one or more of these topics through activities selected by the staff that are the most suited to their abilities. For example, lower primary classes will be doing Earth Day themed fine-motor skills. We hope you all enjoy celebrating Earth Day at home as well!
